    2.4  Identify risks and hazards in the work area

    3.1  Make suggestions to develop or improve work

Paint, plasticine, fluffy cotton wool, cardboard, printed picutres - collage



Assignment 2: Mixed Media final piece: Album cover design

Using scissors safely to cut out foam into letter shapes

A technique being tried out for the background design.  Flicking paint onto the already painted backdrop to add marks and texture 


Drying the paint with a hairdryer so I can put my designs over it quickly.   I had to remove dry paint from the hairdryer to make it safe.

Sam has presented ideas to Rachel, Oliver, Beth and Rachel G.  He had 3 ideas planned and chose the comic strip for his final piece.  Video accidentally deleted from phone by tutor - so evidence not on video but can be verified by staff.

Sam has completed the comic strip it is on the wall in the classroom due to A1 size.  No photo taken prior to lockdown but can be photographed if required.   
3.1 / 3.2 not completed as Sam self-isolated prior to lockdown.  Evidence of being able to meet the criteria cross referenced with unit 5 evidence and his discussions in videos regarding other students work (See Oliver Formstone Telfer and Beth Allen Mulroy.


Unit 2
Not completed due to lockdown.  See tutor assessment / cross referencing using unit 5 as evidence of all AOs being met.
